Nashville, TN – Today, the American Trucking Associations’ Moving and Storage Conference awarded two professional drivers with the organization’s Super Van Operator Award as part of the MSC Annual Meeting.
“Drivers are the heart of the moving and storage industry,” said MSC Executive Director Dan Hilton. “I’m proud to recognize these two outstanding professionals for their decades of service and attention to detail. They are exceptional ambassadors for our industry, ensuring that every move they handle is carried out with the utmost care.”
The Super Van Operator Award honors exemplary drivers and owner-operators who provide safe, reliable, and customer-oriented truck transportation in service to the nation’s household goods carriers.
This year, Damon Clark of National Van Lines received the Super Van Operator Award, and Brian Eckert of JK Moving Services was given a lifetime Super Van Operator Award.
Clark has been a driver for 27 years. Eckert has been a driver for 32 years and has 2.5 million safe driving miles. He is a previous recipient of JK Moving’s Long-Distance Driver of the Year Award.
“Damon and Brian are tremendous examples of the hardworking and dedicated individuals who define our industry, and we are enormously proud to have them as MSC members. Their commitment to safety and customer service sets the bar high,” said Hilton. “We wish them all the best and thank them for being role models who embody the professionalism and customer service we all strive for.”
