Washington—With National Truck Driver Appreciation Week quickly approaching, American Trucking Associations announced today it has opened the official NTDAW Store to help carriers and industry supporters show their appreciation for the nation’s 3.5 million professional truck drivers.
“ATA is proud to support and advocate for our nation’s professional truck drivers every day, culminating with the celebration of National Truck Driver Appreciation Week every September,” said American Trucking Associations Chief Operating Officer Sarah Rajtik. “NTDAW gives us a chance to demonstrate with more than words just how much we value the hardworking men and women who keep our industry and economy moving.”
National Truck Driver Appreciation Week, this year celebrated September 15-21, is an annual event that formally recognizes the efforts of the 3.5 million truck drivers who drive our economy forward. State trucking associations, industry suppliers, law enforcement, and motor carriers of all sizes from coast to coast are set to host appreciation events for these professionals who safely deliver 72.6% of our country's freight.
The NTDAW Store includes an array of products featuring the new 2024 National Truck Driver Appreciation Week logo designed with professional truck drivers in mind. Friends and supporters of the industry are invited to purchase merchandise that displays their support for the men and women who deliver our nation’s goods.
Items for sale include t-shirts, baseball caps, banners and more. The website also includes press and social media kits for organizations and individuals looking to participate in the NTDAW celebration. ATA invites carriers, shippers and the public to incorporate the logo into signage to thank our nation’s drivers.
The Allied Committee for the Trucking Industry, ACT1, is the premier sponsor of this year’s NTDAW.
