Q3 Advocacy: Achieving Trucking Legislative and Regulatory Objectives Amidst a Turbulent Political Environment, Sponsored by ACT 1

Webinar Description:

As Congress returns for its final sprint before another historic election in November, please join ATA’s Chief Advocacy & Public Affairs Officer Ed Gilroy and members of ATA’s advocacy team for an in-depth discussion on how we intend to navigate this turbulent political environment and achieve our legislative and regulatory objectives.

Numerous ATA priorities, ranging from reforming the credentialing process to cracking down on cargo theft, are before Washington policymakers, and we are determinedly working to advance these initiatives.  We will also explore the ways in which ATA is preparing for all possible contingencies in the midst of an evolving 2024 election landscape, a transitioning administration, and potentially new congressional leadership next year.

Topics will include:

  • The Final Countdown – Agenda for the end of the 118th Congress and previewing the next Congress
