On January 6, 2020, the Federal Motor Carriers Safety Administration will fully implement the long-anticipated Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse. Motor carriers will be required to perform a query in the clearinghouse when hiring a driver and on an annual basis. Join this webinar to hear from ATA's Abigail Potter, Manager of Safety & Occupational Health Policy, FMCSA technical experts while they discuss the responsibilities of the motor carrier for complying with this new requirement. About the Presenters:
Barbara Baker, Transportation Specialist, Federal Motor Carriers Safety Administration
Ms. Baker has been with FMCSA for over ten years; first as a contractor and then as a Federal employee where she supported the IT Development Division. In 2016, Barbara transferred to the Compliance Division to support projects such as the Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse, implementation of the Compliance, Safety and Accountability program, and the development of the Case Docketing and Management System.
Gian Marshall, Management Analyst, Federal Motor Carriers Safety Administration
Ms. Marshall is with the Office of Enforcement at the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA). For over ten years, Gian has been a member of FMCSA teams responsible for the implementation of the Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse, the Under 21 Military Driver Pilot Program, Offsite New Entrant Audits, and the long-haul trucking provisions of the North American Free Trade Agreement.
