This Truck PAC webinar event has ended.
Webinar Description:
Join ATA Truck PAC Chairman, Wes Davis, Big M Transportation, as he is joined by Rich Thau, President of Engagious and Moderator of the Swing Voters Project. In March 2019, Rich launched a series of monthly swing voter focus groups in key battleground counties across the U.S. All the locations chosen for the study had a disproportionately high number of swing voters who shifted their support from the nominee of one party to the other between the presidential elections of 2012 and 2016. They were the unique voters who were the pivotal “deciders” in the 2012 and 2016 elections. Rich will present his 16 months of findings and take Q&A.
A cost is associated to participate in this webinar. If you are not a member of Truck PAC, but would like to participate, please contact ATA’s Kathleen Gamble at kgamble@trucking.org.
About the Presenter:
Rich Thau, President, Engagious and Moderator of the Swing Voters Project
Rich Thau may be familiar for his regular appearances on CNN, and his frequent guest spots on the POTUS channel on Sirius XM radio.
Rich has two titles. One is his business title, which is president of Engagious. Rich’s firm specializes in message testing and message refinement for major trade associations and advocacy groups. If you’re familiar with moment-to-moment dial testing, Rich uses that tool in the context of the focus groups he moderates.
Rich’s other title is moderator of the Swing Voter Project. He recently passed the three-quarters mark in a 21-month odyssey where he is focus grouping “Obama-Trump” and “Romney-Clinton” swing voters in the upper Midwest. His findings, which are profiled each month in Axios, are shaping coverage of the 2020 campaign.
