Webinar Description:
The federal tax reform package - the first large-scale federal tax reform in 30 years - was enacted late last year, and most of its provisions are already in effect. Time then for a wrap-up: What's in the reform package for trucking companies? Is it positive or negative? And is tax reform over now, or is there more to come?
Bob Pitcher, ATA's Vice President, State Laws, and staff manager of the ATA Tax Policy Committee, will address these questions and others in this webinar, for ATA members only. Bob will cover the major changes in the structure of the income tax and the specific provisions that pertain to traditional C corporations and to pass-through businesses. And he'll speculate on how the states may alter their own taxes to take advantage of the federal changes - and whether there might in fact be more federal changes.
